The Inglorious Mariner is Main Sponsor of the 2026 Beard's Race in Lignano Sabbiadoro
There is a point of contact between those who ride miles on a motorbike and those who have crossed oceans in search of pure ingredients for men's care. It's the same hunger for the road, the same desire to leave a mark without polluting the path.
That's why The Inglorious Mariner comes aboard the Beard's Race, the contest dedicated to Italy's best-groomed beards, moustaches and goatees, taking place on Saturday, September 19th, as part of the Italian Bike Week, the motorcycling festival that from September 17th to 20th, 2026 brings thousands of enthusiasts to Lignano Sabbiadoro for its 5th edition.
The contest: when a beard becomes a work of art
The challenge is set for Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 PM on the Main Stage of the Luna Park Area in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
The Beard's Race is organized and promoted by Fabrizio Bottos, two-time winner of the World Beard and Moustache Championships (in Antwerp in 2019 and in Burghausen in 2023) and the only Italian in history to win the world title, with his iconic 60cm natural beard.
The contest, open to all with free entry, will see participants compete in front of a panel of expert judges across three categories:
- Beard
- Moustache
- Goatee
The judging criteria will reward beauty, shape, length and the tailored care of every single detail.
